i only lived there for two years, then we move to jackson. i lived in that neighborhood diagonal across the intersection from shipley's....about 2 houses down from that house on the corner.

I lived there for 3 years and I didn't need a newspaper article to know that little statistic. I was guessing closer to 90% though. I think they need to tie their tubes when they have their first one and just not tell them about it. It should be the law in some towns in this state.

I grew up less than 1 mile from you. Glad I am gone now

+1000....Its gotten ridiculous there. We've still got family that lives in Leland. We've been tryin to get my grandmother to move from there for years but she refuses.

Ain't nothing wrong with living here in the delta. Only difference between here and jackson is the number of mosquitoes.

Simple fix is to pass a LAW if you are getting government assistance you HAVE TO TAKE A DRUG TEST. Problem solved.

I'm def. not knockin the delta....I love it, its where I was born. Were just commentin on some of the inhabitants that reside there...
