were leaving friday morning @5 so we will make qualifying, when are you leaving and where are your seats? were in the new backstretch tower row 29 seats 7 8 9 10. come have a cool one with us. if your a fan youll love it , but you really have to see the night race to get the bristol feel. its my fifth one up there, heres a hint ,nobody uses the unisex bathrooms, so when there is a long line and you dont want to wait there are unisex bathrooms by most of the regular ones.
maybe well see you guys there. do you know the Whiteheads down there, their my cousins.

Helton makes statement on NASCAR, Iraq conflict
March 18, 2003
5:39 PM EST (2239 GMT)

Statement from NASCAR President Mike Helton:

NASCAR President Mike Helton

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Everyone in the NASCAR family is keenly observing the latest news regarding the situation in Iraq. We at NASCAR and our fans across the United States and around the world are praying for the safety of our nation's brave men and women in uniform as well as those of our allies.

NASCAR plans to continue with our current 2003 racing schedule while closely monitoring the unfolding situation in the Middle East. As part of our contingency preparation, we are in close and constant contact with all the relevant authorities necessary to ensure and maintain the security of our drivers, teams, tracks and fans. We will do whatever is necessary to continue supporting our country's efforts, including schedule adjustments if deemed appropriate.

We believe there is a special bond between our troops and our sport. Every branch of the American military is represented in NASCAR racing and our Chairman, Bill France, has always described NASCAR fans as the kind of people who go to war and win wars for America. Many of those fans are currently deployed throughout the world, doing just that.

To that point, we should all be mindful of the sacrifices our troops and, just as important, their families are making during this difficult time.

I agree about the #2 car. It has been hard being a R. Wallace fan over the past couple of years. If #24 doesn't get in his way, Rusty should finish number one.

Now judge, we all know who had the car to beat. Can a guys luck get any worse than the 24 team!? The Drive For Five is turning into a nightmare. Three races should have belonged to 24 but,...

Busch is got it together, I must say. But if you dominate too much this year NASCAR will make sure it doesn't happen next year.

First 24 goes down every Sunday, then MSU gets beat by Butler High, I'm afriad to watch the War coverage on TV...
