guys i just had my bow in the case with everything stolen. i need a quick fix and have priced the matthews s2 and drenalin from last year. i had a pse flash from about 5 years ago and the technology has dwarfed me. i am looking for the best bow for the money and probably want forgiveness and quietness more than speed. all my buddies are screaming i get a bowtech instead.
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go shoot them all and pick what you like best. For the money on the market the Truth is a great bow. I am a hoyt guy myself. My dad is pure Matthes. Bowtech is a great bow. It is a personal matter. Technology is far enough along you just about cant pick a bad one.

i shot a hoyt katera and vetrix plus the other day and they were incredible! i actually prefered the vetrix plus over the katera but not by much.
go to archerytalk.com and look in the classifieds. i get all my bows from there and have had nothing but good experiences. there is a guy right now selling brand new katera for 595 + 17 dollar shipping.. they still have tags and everything. you cant beat that price anywhere

i shoot a diamond black ice myself and love the bow it has the forgiveness but far as quietness it took me a lot of time and trials to get it the way i wanted it...far as quiet out of the box matthews is the best ive seen...just a little advice though if you buy a bowtech take the factory hush kit off and throw that chit away it is worthless put all limbsaver stuff on it and either an sts string suppressor or a string tamer if not you will have a clanker

Try out the new Hoyts, I think you will like them alot better than the new Matthews. That being said go shoot a few and get what you like best.

Go shoot them all, seriously.
Over the course of the last few months I have shot the Hoyts, Rosses, Bowtech, Mathews, limbsavers, Diamonds, and the list goes on. They are all good boys, but have their pro's and con's of each.
I will second Champ on AT, they have some unbelievable deals.

Look at Mission bows. They are a division of Mathews and I believe they take the bow from a few years ago and just reintroduce it with a lower cost to stretch the return out of it. They make some changes so it doesn't exactly look like the same bow though. I have a mathews switchback and love it. I can't tell the difference between it and the top Mission bow though.

Steve,
Call me. I bought the new Mathews DXT this year and still have my Mathews Legacy from a few years ago. You may be interested.

I second what everyone is saying about AT.com....they have great deals, and it is where I got my last bow and had only the best of experiences

I bought a Drenalin last year and love it. You can't go wrong with it "IF" you get it tuned properly.
What sucks is that I had arm surgery last week to reattach my bicep and I'm out until Christmas!

I'm on my 3rd AR. Had the first AR 34, then got a newer AR34, then for Christmas I got an AR Velocity.
Very quiet bows and forgiving. They aren't as fast as some other bows out there, but they aren't slow. They are the quietest bows I have ever shot though, and there is almost zero shock.
Sportsman's Warehouse in Memphis and Southaven have AR's on clearance for VERY good prices in case you want to take a close look at one and are in the area.
