How old is too old?

Just got a two year old. He is very nice dog with lots of drive and energy. My question is 2 years old too old to start training...any sugestions????

its not to late. I have one that is 3 now but didnt start training till he was 18 mths. Just keep in mind you cant compare him to dogs his age. You have to look at everything in terms of how long you have been training. Take your time and be patient. Good luck

I agree. some dogs mature slower anyway so its definately not too late.

How is the training of your pup coming along? Are you going to have him ready to fetch some birds for us this year?

Mine did not really start "serious" training until over a year old, due to Katrina. Unless you count guarding a FEMA trailer as training. We were all over that.
