i say if you want her that bad, go talk to your friend. if you and he are that good of friends you two should be able to reach an agreement.. talk to her also and see which one she wants.. then you still have to decide if she is worth the cost of the friendship.. either way i thnk your friendship will suffer some..

Which has better prospect in duck hunting spots? Use judgement; you can find more friends or girlfriends, but duck holes are hard to come by!

You are 13. You will have a lot of girlfriends. Most people dont keep girlfriends they have had since the 6th grade (or whatever grade you are in) but they have kept best friends that long. Just sit back, be cool and wait to see what happens with them. Chances are they wont like each other for that long and then you can step up. If you are the cool best friend then she is probably already checking you out anyway!

NO doubt, this is some mothers little boy, Yall grow up, This is suppost to be a place yours or anyones kids can come to. Would some of thes comments be the advise you gave to your 13 year old son?
