Had a decent year last year. Minus some gun problems from browning bps (hanging up) even when clean. Just purchased the Winchester SX3, hope to get more shots off this season. Any comments on how the SX3 should perform?

My Browning never jams..

It goes Boom Boom everytime I pull pull the trigger trigger.. Must be a user error.

I shoot a BPS for the last 6-7 seasons and it might get cleaned after January 31 but only if its lucky. Never had it jam though.

Ha. Good one! True but put that I keep clean bc think of how many ppl would have said it probably needed a cleaning. It actually could be the user cwinkler. Hunting buddy told me he had same problem because he was raised shooting 870 and mossberg shotguns that had a shorter shucking action. Guy said the browning was a little bit longer than he was used to.

so cwinkler could have a good hypothesis

Of course you are...I dip Mine in the water at least once per fall. Somtimes I even dip it even if I dont fall in.

Depends on how many times you drop it to the bottom of a brake...so for me...at least 3 times a year

I have the sx3 and love it. I haven't had any probs out of mine other than dropping it in the river and it freezing up until I got it back dry. This is the first automatic I've owned and will prob be the only one for a while.

I use to sell them wholesale when I worked for a distributor and I would like to congratulate you on purchasing the last shotgun you will buy (out of nessesity) IMO that gun is flawless!

I would have to agree! I purchased the SX3 and can't seem to put it down now. I can't get over how light and good it feels when you throw up to shoot! Everyone that I have hunted with has said something good about it. I have already killed a few limits of geese and doves with it. (pics on site) I put the "jam-o-matic Browning BPS" in the closet where it will stay. This gun has an unbelievable smooth, fast action. I am very happy with the purchase at 849.00!

Yeah! I can atest to ole drake2's love for his gun. Every time he down's a honker he run's up in the woods, and then comes out smoking a cigarette and cuddleing that winchester!
