Is Kentucky Fescue a good grass for lawns? And what type of preparation is needed for seeding it?
Found some for $13 for a 40 pound bag And was gonna put some in a place to try and cover some bare spots under trees.

We plant it on the golf copurse all the time for rough ect...... but this time of year it gets to looking real bad b/c it can't handle the extreme heat very well. Come fall it will do good all the way through late spring but when the heat arrives it starts to wilt

I wouldnt overseed my bemuda with any type of Fescue b/c it will not completely die off in the summer it just starts wilting and looks like crap. If you are wanting to overseed then I would do it w/ perrinial Rye

kent. fescue also grows in clumps where tall fescue grows in single blades and looks better. either one you would need to keep water on it this time of year.
