Got Poison?

I was cleaning out an old barn on my property and found a fifty pound sack of some kind of poison. My dad said he remembered my uncle bringing it to him twenty some odd years ago and he spilled it getting out of the truck, and it killed everything within 30ft.
I contacted the county extension office and the guy I usually talk to is out for the week.
My question is how do I get rid of it?

DEQ and BPI host several pesticide disposal days throughout the state. I do not know when the next one is scheduled, but it is free. You just drop off the chemical at the site, and it is disposed of properly.
