Just found out that I got a job with DU this summer, counting duck nests in North and South Dakota. Sounds more like a dream than a job. Never been to that part of the country, but cant wait to go.
Maybe I'll be able to give ya'll a good estimate of the production on the breeding grounds this year!

So that is the reason the duck numbers are so low, DU is hiring MSU student to do the counting. Hasn't someone told them that nobody in Starkville knows how to count. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Just Kiddin Ya'
Good luck and Congrats.
See what you can do about getting us that 3-30 for next year will ya.

Naw, D&N, they have now decided there is a problem and had to have someone they could count on solve the problem. If they sent some Ole Miss boys, they'd spend the whole summer trying to determine who was at fault so they could sue them! Hey, who loves you Rebels?!

litlhitch, I hope you enjoy it. Sounds like it would be fun. Keep DU straight and tell them we are trying to be patient. We haven't completely abandoned them yet.

Litlhitch congrats on landing such a neat summer job. I hope its all you thought it would be and more. How about posting a recap of your experiences when you get back. This website will probably be in dire need of something interesting to read about then. I sure wish I had steered my education in the "Outdoors/Wildlife" direction when I had the chance. Good luck. the INJUN

Injun, I am a little envious of Lilhitch, too. I got to thinking it sure would be nice to be outside working with wildlife...then I stopped and decided I likedalready work with wildlife, just indoors...I'm a teacher! Right Laduck?

Make sure you load up on your Spring semester classes. Once you get to God's Country, you might not want to come back!!!!!

Good luck up there and have a good time. Congratulations on such a great job; it should be quite an experience. Any luck finding anything up in Starkvegas? I have looked and found some stuff. Drop me a PM and let me know.
