You should drive about twenty minutes further on Saturday and watch the Blue Angels show. Thats were I'll be, relaxing, DRINKING, and watching a great show.

I'm heading down next Thursday, where should we stay...we usually go to Destin but we're going for a shorter weekend this time....so I don't know where in particular to stay?

this is our second year at the Phoenix VII.. its nice condo's to stay at... always clean and not a bunch of rowdy people here...

You need to be booking it now. They get full pretty quick. I like to use this site, they seem to be a little cheaper.

I agree, the Beach Club is great! Its the most family friendly place I know of with everything you need on site. Check out site beachclubal.com

I worked at The Beach Club restaurant for a summer. Learned more about food and cooking from the chef in one summer than I did in my whole life. Beach Club is the place to stay in my opinion.

My girl and I are planning on going down just before school starts or a week early in the semester. Family has been to orange beach many times. We've stayed at many places, and its hard to find one we didn't like. I'll be budgeting my trip come fall, so who knows where this trip on a college budget will take us.
