Enjoyed the hell out of hangin with you guys this weekend! I'm whipped, the dog is sleepin and I'm glad to be done with that one for damn sure! That chit wasn't pretty in Flight C2, I still think the only thing missin from the first series was a ferris wheel and a couple o carney midgets

Ended up with 2 passes on my maniac and one on the other dog I was runnin in master, I feel drained...and if it weren't for the pretty scenery me and T-bone were lookin at in the holding blind this afternoon it woulda sucked
lets do it again this fall!

Y'all can't toss out a few sentences about ferris wheels and clowns without filling in the details for the peanut gallery. I need details...pm me if necessary.
And congrats on the ribbons for those who took them home.

hehe, I ain't worth a damn, I went home tryin to count ribbons, I'm pretty sure that makes her a MH lol
LDH - The first series in our second master was "interesting" to say the least. You started out with a walk up cold honor, then moved to the line where they threw "2 birds in a 5 gallon bucket" and then a flier to the right. The 2 left hand birds were about 20yds apart and that is being a bit generous, then you had to run a blind that was about 10 yds to the left of the longest bird on the left giving you 3 birds that were within a 30yd area

and another blind into the woods. You then brought the dog back to pick up the "walk up" bird for the honor dog coming to the line. It took me 6-7 dogs to get close to figuring out what the heck I was supposed to do. Couple that with the bird boys doing their favorite 'MC Hammer' impersonation on dang near every dog and it was a cluster.

To add to the carnival, the guys who were shooting the flier could not hit it in the air, so they just let it land (15 ft) in front of them and dusted it on the ground. Made for an interesting series for sure. I will say, in 3 series they were consistant, we had 3 inline's. Go figure
Doc & Nash (who is still one pass away from the MH

Oh my!!!! That does sound like something!
We've run a test with the cold honor before. It will shake up a handler. It was well thought out and worked pretty well. The dog that just finished working was sitting on a hill side. "Dog to the line" walks up and a single is thrown at about 65 yards. Dog that had just picked up marks picks that single up and leaves. Walk up dog honors this then is sent for a blind under the arc of that single. Then moves over to receive a nice wide open triple. It was an interesting test that worked well.
No clowns and carnival rides, but showed a good use of imagination.

One out of two ain't bad but I'd be real proud of walking away with two Chuck! We had a blast and after a 9 hour ride yesterday evening I'm worn out to say the least. The 3rd series in the 2c was ruff but that's what I guess you expect when you run a master. I will say that next time we will be throwing marks real tight, I mean real tight the week before. We were perfect through 5 series and I knew the wheels would come off sooner or later.
Chuck, thanks for hauling Ace around for me. Big help there. I owe you a beer or four.
What about Billy and Tony......what was the out come?

I know Tony lost Dasiee on the water blind in the last series. I'm not sure about the others. Max passed both masters this weekend. Smoked the first master and about lost him on the second master. To much running test and not enough training. He's 4 out of 5 in master now so i'm gonna lay off until after the grand this fall

double masters are great, but it is TOUGH keepin em together through 6 series. I got lucky as he!! in that 3rd series, our wheels came off but luckily we had a handle in our pocket to overcome some serious head swinging issues that came up on that left hand bird...hehe I ended up running the test in reverse order because of it but it worked out in the end.
anytime Benj, enjoyed meeting you and I hope you and your wife enjoy the vacation!
Trey - quit tryin to make little girls cry!!
