I'm looking to get a Rem 870 Super Magnum and the cheapest price I've found is like $350, thought I might be able to get one cheaper through an FFL. thanks

Hmmmm...........that's probably the 870 SM with wood stock and forend. The synthetic is the one I'm wanting, but it should be the same price or just a little higher. I've always been skeptical of wally world guns until I bought my beretta there.

no, it was the synthetic (black stock) 3 1/2" gun.

Hmmm.........you wanna discuss a monthly payment plan.

went to wally world here in vegas yesterday, didn't have one.
I shot my buddies benelli nova last week and didn't feel any pain from shooting those 3.5's, just wish I had thought about doing this at the beginning of the season. I may sell my 870 express mag to see if i can offset some of the cost.

Well damn, torch, guess I should've mentioned it earlier. Was it in pretty good shape? I'm wanting the SM to have a 26" barrel, my brother's gun has the 23" barrel and he can't hit chit with it.

Gh22,
If you liked the Nova, then go get a Nova. Benelli is the way to go, not one of those "throw-away guns".

"throw away guns"???...........i know you aren't talking about a remington.
I like the nova except for the plastic forend and the one piece stock and receiver, can't adjust the thing. And I know that I'll end up breaking that plastic some kind of way. I've put my 870 through more hell than that Nova will stand up to.........prolly stick with the 870 SM.

If your in Stark Vegas, check out Gary's in West Point. Talk to Mike, he has always beat everyone's price for me. BTW, they do have a payment plan option, good deal provided you pay it off in under a year (no interest). Their number is 494-7690
