Who has one?
The city of Knoxville has recently banned the use/possession of outdoor grills in ALL apartment complexes, and even though we are a 'townhouse community', we still got screwed.
That being said, we've haven't had a hamburger, hotdog, steak, chicken wings, roll-ups, or any of that stuff since we moved into town several months ago......until this weekend. We bought the little (see: cheap) George Foreman grill, just to see if we would get any use out of it, before buying the 75 or 80 dollar one.
I have used that thing EVERYDAY since we got it, and I don't think I will ever eat another cold sandwich again! We've had burgers, hot turkey and cheese, grilled cheese....I've got hotwings marinating right now, and I am thinking about some type of deli meat burritos for lunch tomorrow, and maybe some steaks for dinner. This little thing is great, and I can't wait til it breaks, so I can get the big one
Does anyone else use a george foreman grill....do y'all have any good recipes?

If you see a recipe for thanksgiving turkey breast in one, don't try it. My mother in law pulled that stunt 3 years ago.

Be careful when you cook ducks in one of those things. I did it once and it cooked too fast, and MAN did it come out tough! I'm talking about 'hockey puck' hard.

My wife (girlfriend at the time) has since banned me from cooking. Hey wait a minute. That ain't too bad of an idea, is it?

I've got a small one that I keep in the condo. I use it about every other day. Love it.

The trick to the George Foreman is to never clean it... the grease adds flavor

I use the George Foreman grill all the time. You can cook a grilled cheese sandwich on there, just put a piece of toast down, a slice of cheese and then your top layer of toast, let it cook until the bread is brown. You can also cook those boneless chicken breasts on there. If you will take one out the day before and let them marinade in some Italian dressing and then for lunch or supper the next day, put it on the grill, cook it for about 6 minutes adding any additional seasonings you wish, if you like onions and peppers, you can put those one there as well while you are cook this. Matter of fact, i like to put my bread on one side and let it toast, put the chicken and onions and pepper on the other side! Don't really like hamburgers or steak on there, it loses all the flavor! just a little insight, also can cook some smoked sausages like the chicken and it is good too.

Speaking of Bacon. I cook my bacon on mine and it works real well. I cut the pieces of bacon in half in order to fit more on the grill.
Only cooking for 2 though.
