Turkey Fever

So I killed my first bird yesterday, and I was tickled to death. Got him at 2:00 took about 45 mins to get him in range. Average 2 year old 8 inch beard 3/4 inch spurs. I had the itch before, but now I have the fever! Oh and about 15 mins before I set up on this bird I stepped on about a 4 foot king snake so be aware they are out and about. Thank goodness this Mr. NoShoulders was of the friendly type!

Good job on your first turkey!
I saw about 25 snakes between 11-1 today at my farm. 6 or 7 cottonmouths, 1 copperhead, and the rest water snakes. They are soaking up the sun for sure!

Good job Matt. Will called me just right after it happened. He said yall were on them all morning. It's an addicting habit but I, along with Will, would rather watch turkeys flop than anything else. I want to see some pictutures.
