Anyone watch this on the history channel last night? First one I have watched, not as good as the crab boat series yet. Still pretty dangerous though, guy almost caught his leg in the cable being pulled by a helicopter.

I thought it was good! I personally enjoyed it more than the Deadliest Catch, simply because they were in the woods......i will agree though it is not as dangerous as the Bering Sea

I thought it was pretty neat too. Reminded me of the Ice Trucker series - it sounded like the same commentator.

It is about men who are professional loggers in the Pacific Northwest. It goes through the trial and difficulties associated with their job.

I enjoyed it more b.c they were in the woods. I get sea sick watching the perfect catch. Plus this show has a gimp and last I checked the perfect catch crew had all their fingers :D

Not as dangerous??? Every piece of equipment they use is a death trap. Trees sliding back down hills at Mach 5, chainsaws, that sky line thing and all those cables under tension. I'd rather be on one of the crab boats. Many ways to get killed logging, one way on the boat. Everyone of those loggers were beat up. One was even short an arm because of a chainsaw kickback. Definite not a job for me even if it is in the outdoors.

Logging is ranked right up there as one of those most dangerous jobs in America. Coal mining and the Alaskan Fishermen are up there as well.
