That many mature deer taken can sure mess up a gene pool built up over the years.

If you look close in the middle it looks to me like alot of those in the middle are already mounted deer. The heads just look a little to picture perfect to be laying in a pile with a bunch of other dead deer. But, that is alot of big deer.

The story I got was that these guys lost their lease after 25 years of being on a managment program, so the last year, they shot a chit load of deer. I don't know whether that is true, but they killed some really nice deer regardless.

Bullchit. Everyone is mounted. Not a drop of blood and all the ears are sticking out, not flopped like dead.

nah - those deer have been hanging in a cooler. they aren't mounted IMO. regardless, the lost the lease story seems practical....maybe. those don't look like the stage the photo type with their wives and all.

probably staged a "big bucks killed over the years" type photo, with the majority being taken off the club wall and tossed in a pile.

Where do you judge the picture was taken? Could be Mississippi, could be Michigan - I can't tell.

So your saying that these deer never mated and passed on thier genes.. I would assume none of those buck are virgins..
