Cell signal booster...

Anyone ever used a cellular signal booster? I've moved into my new house & have hardly any cell signal at all. I used foil backed decking on the roof & that's what's causing the problem. There are boosters available but they're fairly expensive. I'd like to find out if they actually work before spending the funds on one.

At my old job we had bad service so they went and bought one. I think is was about 600-700 bucks. It did improve the signal but I don't think it improved it enough to pay that kind of money for it if all you have to do is walk outside.

There is one made by wireless extenders http://www.wi-ex.com that works great. They are around $300 and are worth the money. Make sure that you get the the correct one for your service provider.
