PATHETIC!!! He did SOO bad in the seasoned water test, I loaded up and came home, I didn't even stay for land!! I think somebody stole my dog and replace him with somebody else's dog!!! He wouldn't stop on the whistle for the blind, he broke on the first mark as soon as it hit the water, I mean, GOOD GOD!!! I was SOOOOO pissed!! Going back to work!! I have NO CLUE what came over him. YOu would have thought he had never been to a hunt test!!

I said in another post a month or so ago, you NEVER KNOW what your dog is going to do or how he is going to act at a hunt test, today was SOLID PROOF of that fact!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm better now, sort of!!!

I went out Sat on land, after doing really well at the water. My stupid booty was too late on a whistle and the dog picked up the hot blind after a funky toss gave me a big pinch. Sat there like a spectator and watched it happen. "Oh snap, there is a bird on that orange pole." Judges were super nice. :!:

I voluntarily picked up this AM in mid-blind after 2 cast refusals and a big scallop on the land blind. My how the line manners can change overnight. Watched many other dogs go out on the same blind, the same way. Still don't know why that blind was so hard on some of the dogs other than really good bird placement and a big crosswind. Wish they would have run water first, I would have felt a lot better about going out on the WB than that baffling land blind. :D

Think I am going to skip the rest of the spring hunt test season, until both me and the dog have our head right. May take a couple years, I dunno.

Two seasoned passes and a HR title, thanks to Copiah Creek!!!

I ran Belle for a pass on Saturday, but I had to get back to Memphis for my daughters christening on Sunday. CC was kind enough to handle her for me today and despite a shaky start on water they pulled it out in the end. Alan, I owe you BIG TIME…especially after the soaking you took for me…

Just got home. Great test that I worked in finished A on Sat. and finished B on Sunday. Really a great flooded timber "twist" test that most I talked to really liked. Saw some damn fine dogs, and met some folks from the board. It was a lot of fun, and did y'all hear Copiah Creek got drowned?

I hope I got my started title. Copiah was going to pick it up for me since I had to come home and be with my wife that's due any day. (At least I got to go.) Hope I can get her ready for started before the spring is over. Thanks to West Mississippi for a great test despite the bad weather.

by chance
Finished B marshalls were nursing headaches because of the pecan beer. Methinks not the quality but the quantity that got em.
