What if?????

What if we had and early season on Woodies like our neighbors to the north in Tennessee?? I've been early teal hunting for a few years now and we sure seem to have plenty around. Maybe if we all petitioned the state, and they petitoned the Feds, who knows??? Wishful thinking probably....

From what I understand, and I may be in correct, some of the neighboring states allow you to take a couple of woodies while hunting teal. The woodie's do not count against your daily limit of teal. Sort like free birds. I would not mind this, as this year I have been unsuccessfull in locatin g the Teal. With all the water, they can be anywhere. I spoke to a guy at work, he told me the birds were still in the delta, eating corn in flooded fields. Just my luck.

Whose birds is she fetching now?
