I wish i could tell you Doe's, but alas it is no more. The new place "Prime" i hear is going to just as good though. It should be opening soon!! Old Taylor Grocery is personal favorite (awsome plate lunch on weekdays) as well are 208 and Boure'.

L&Ms is one of the best meals in the Southeast. Unfortunately, there are rumors he is having to close because his lease is increasing 3x.

L&M's is across the street form City Hall on the North side of the Square. Their quail and eggs brekfast is the best!

What happened to doe's? Seems they just cant keep them opened outside of greenville. The one in oxford was run by one of the signa brothers, not a franchisee. Imagine oxford is super competitive outside of football weekends.

In my opinion, Doe's in Oxford was very inconsistent. Some nights you could go there and you would think it was just as good as the one in Greenville, and other nights you wondered why you just didn't stay at home and cook a steak yourself.

Ill agree, but i loved the tamales. Also, the hotel bought the space from the original owner who leased it to Does and have put in thier own restaurant.

I used to cook at does when it was in the old china building it was never the same once they left it. Last time i went to the one in the hotel they had started ordering the tamales  When i saw this i knew it was not good. But i wish the Signas best they are great people.
