I feel your pain, a warm bottle usually does the trick.

Tried the diaper, tried the diaper, tried everything. She just wanted to be a booger bear. Boy that alarm clock sure went off early this morning. Questioned just how much I wanted to rabbit hunt while layin there.

How old is your little girl? We took the ax kickin for eleven weeks and one day. Our baby had colic and she would cry from about dark till three or four in the morning. IF it weren't for my wife, I don' know what I would have done.

Knowing what I know now...that she is 13 months old....I would definately do it again.

Be careful though, when ours started sleeping through the night, somehow we wound up with another on the way.

Only in restrospect can I say this, but enjoy each phase because one day you will have almost forgotten it. The first one's teh worst - subsequent children likely won't be attended to in near the same fashion and, as they get older, will go to sleep much easier by themselves.

But in all honesty, that comes from a fella that became more involved when they reached an age they could toss a baseball! As told by my wife, she was determined I'd get up with Forrest one night so she removed the crying toddler from his crib, placed him on the bed next to me, and finally came back in after a few minutes when the crying had reached a fevered pitch that drowned out my snoring.

Wait until she is a teenager and then the cry, cry, cry, scream, scream scream, starts all over again just in a louder voice. It will then be accompanied by slamming, stomping and various vocabulary. Enjoy!

trust me...it will be much better in retrospect! I look back now and think on those days as some of the best. Man, what I wouldn't give for one of those nights in the recliner with Maggie or Richard asleep on my chest! All of a sudden, I just blinked and Richard is a young man out on his own and Mags is a senior in college!

Guess it's true what the song says...."don't blink!"

Easy for me to say, I know...but, man, enjoy this time. It goes by so fast!

Just enjoy it while you can, those years are great and looking back....easy. When they turn 13, LOOK OUT! If I can just make it through the next 5 years, I HEAR they chill out and want to do stuff again. I hope I can last that long, I get more grey everyday.

She will be nine weeks old tomorrow. And she is actually a very god baby. Not a lot of this crying stuff, she was just a a roll last night. She is a cool little sport most of the time. It has been fun the last two weeks cause she has been smiling and cooing alot. That is fun. I have got her spoiled and she will not hardly go to sleep if I am not rubbing her head.
