Mississippi Blues Musicians

Postby Woodduckdawg » Thu Feb 07, 2008 8:59 am

Alright fellas,
I'm trying to put together a PowerPoint/Audio Presentation for school and decided on MS Blues Musicians as my topic. I have the biggies (R Johnson, Muddy, Howlin', BB, Hooker etc.), but I'm looking for what songs and artists you feel should be included on this project. SONGS NEED TO BE CLEAN
So list any songs songs that symbolize the delta blues or anything you particular enjoy. Problem is going to be me getting access to these songs via whatever downloading source is used.
If it doesn't work out there will never be any doubt that the pleasure was worth all the pain.

You can't forget some of the early guys like Charley Patton who was among the first Delta musicians to record. Bukka White was a phenomenal musicians as well. Check out "Bukka's Jitterbug Swing".
