Duckhole for lease in Tallahatchie county

Postby JRC » Mon Feb 04, 2008 9:55 am

Located in Tallahatchie county approximately halfway between Cowart and Tippo on the east side of the paved road. Can be found easily using google earth. Can send pics of the last weekends hunt to anyone interested. This hole has always had water during the season and been a consistant producer of many , many limits of ducks and some geese. jrcriss@bop.gov

Before this goes too far, you might want to contact Micha for his approval to put it in the lease forum. He has a rule about this type of advertising!

Because Tally had no ducks till the last weekend of regular season. Should have been there this past weekend with a youth. It was awesome to see ducks too high to see materialize and drop and land w/o once circling; have hundreds in the air at once and hear all the commotion. It had been at least 3 years for me. All the duck holes looked real good this past Saturday!

You will get 1,000 calls and emails. It will get scarce come paying time. That is the nature of internet lease posts!

I agree with the arrival of the ducks (although I wasn't in Tallahatchie, I was close)...I've taken kids on youth weekend over the years, and been consistently disappointed in the duck numbers...until this past Saturday....haven't seen that kind of a spectacle in several years.

I agree with the number of ducks this year. My son and I hunted every weekend on our lease this year but 1. Best day we had was 12 with a 4 man group. This past weekend my son and one of his friends managed to shoot 5 boxes of shells combined on two hunts, sat. afternoon and Sunday morning. They killed 5 Saturday and 12 Sunday. Probably had more ducks this weekend then we did all year combined!!!
