donald trejo.... I wouldn't click on the website in his info. looks too fishy to not have a virus or something attached to the site - especially since we huttnerssuck. donaldtrejo.c0n.us.....?? Can any of the IT techies check the site safely and let us know what it is about?

it seems like the same crap as always, we usually get several of these every year and when we get them they come in groups. Anyone remember when we got the big one and it caused all the mess

I know it would be more work on the mods, but we need to make it where a new members first ten or fifteen post have to be approved. If we needed more people to approve I would volunteer as I spend way to much time on here.

a simple system wher you have to type in numbers that match the ones that come up on screen would work. Most other sites have something like this and it works well for them

Spambots and XXXbots are very tough to deal with when it comes to registration. The verification codes do work in some instances but not all.

Download and install SITEADVISOR... then you can type the site in on google and it will check it for you...
http://www.siteadvisor.com
And I agree with Greenhead22 says, it is really tough to keep out spammers and bots all together.

I know of an owner of another site that checks it daily and deletes that crap! Moderators should be given auth. to do it here to help Micha. I think he just likes to say he got X amt. of members even if it is not so!

Sorry. I can't nuke members. Power reserved only to the bossman.
If I can reset passwords, no one has told me how to do it.
As far as I can tell, we have not had anymore pornospam since the last go round. Have we

I figured that is what most of them are (that aren't bots), trying to skulk up some ammo against hunters - to present on their sites, completely out of context from the way they were originally intended.

No, I don't allow them to register just to pump up the member numbers.
There was a server update that broke the visual confirmation, so I had to disable to allow new members to register. That left a gap for the spammers to register.
I'm working on getting it resolved, and spammer usernames are being deleted as I am able to sort through the list.
