Postby Unlucky Ducky » Mon Jan 28, 2008 5:08 pm

Whay kind of license and stamps does a youth need to participate in the youth weekend hunt?

The youth is a 12 y/o and has his hunters ed certificate. Just curious if anybody knows for sure.

I was fairly sure they didn't need a license, but I wasn't sure about the stamps.

per my conversation a couple of weeks back with someone from the Enforcement Division, if they are under 16, they don not need a license or waterfowl stamps. If they are 16, they need a license and stamps.

I believe the supervising adult must be a resident with stamps, liscenses, and a WMA Permit if hunting on a WMA, or, be exempt....y'all have fun
