My bud got drawn for this weekend. I went and looked at it at the beginning of the season and I did not see many ducks. I have heard that there are alot of ducks there now. Is that true? If so how are ya'll killing them? I know there is not any cover and I don't have a tub. Should we try it Sat or go somewhere else.

Please no smart booty stay home or similar.

We had a draw there and elected not to go b/c we were drawn else where for the same dates. When we checked it out there was some birds but not a ton. There is no cover so the best I can tell you is to get some hay and lay out and cover up on the levee or make a makeshift blind in the open hole but since there is no cover out there it will stick out. IF I was you I would go else where if I had someplace else to go. but thats just my .02 worth. Best of luck to you in what ever you decide

dude, get you some burlap and dress it up with some Johnson grass and a brown bucket, get out there in the middle of your field and decoys and wear that booty out!!! There should be TONS and TONS of ducks there. I dont' know where else you could go and see that many ducks!!! As many ducks as are in this area, GO!!!!

I wouldn't pass it up. If it is just you and one other you can possibly hide in the middle with some grass mats, burlap w/ grass attached w/ zipties, or even tryhiding in the cover of the main ditches. Bring your own cover and make it subtle.

Great chance for a great hunt, if you aint lazy.

go. I went and it was one of the most fun hunts of the year. my advise is to get in the middle of the field though and have fun.
