Going to Destin for Spring Break. A group of people and I have been going every year for the past couple of years now. We usually stay in a hotel or a buddies condo, but this year we are tryin to get a house because we've got a fairly large group going (8 to 12 people). I was wonderin if any of you guys have had past experiences with any houses or condos in the Desin area primarily on or around old 98 or scenic 98. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Google both Abbott Realty or Rivard Realty down there. They've got plenty of them.

I googled it jus to see. Here's what I found!
The Blue Horizon Motel has been a popular summer spot for years. Located next to the motel on Okaloosa Island,
it is a hangout for the generally hung-over locals who live and work on the island, and also for some of the most hardcore surfers,
who live in the notorious "surf ghetto" across the street, off Bluefish Drive. From the east, turn left after Brooks Bridge to the Blue Horizon motel. It is a half-mile off Highway 98 on Okaloosa Island. Look for the first beach-access parking lot on the left. From the west, follow Highway 98 east to Fort Walton and take a left at the intersection, before going over Brooks Bridge. The B.H. has a fun, snappy inside break and is a great spot for checking out the best bodies on the island.

My only advice is to go to South Padre Island.

Usually need to be atleast 25 to sign to get the house. I know Rivard Realty and Abbott Realty are make it tough now for college people to get houses, which they should.

We always spend a week or so down in Seaside/Seagrove and even it has started to become over crowded. If I ever get rich or win the lotto I will own a place on the beach down in that area
