if you bought a diamond in between those dates you may have paid too much; the inflated prices are allegedly a result of actions by DeBeers (Anti-trust, etc), as a result of these alleged actions a class action lawsuit was filed....

GG what is your professional opinion of these types of suits...does the consumer ever get paid?

Does the consumer ever get paid? Yes they do. Do they get the full value of their claim if it had been adjudicated individually? Not necessarily. But that's just my opinion, and you know what they say about those. How's the little one? Ready to go shoot soon? Haven't seen you in a while, give me a shout maybe we can meet up for a beer soon.

the lawyer that filed the suit gets paid. that is about it. yea, everyone may get a couple hundred/thousand dollars, but the attorney that filed the suit makes tens of millions. and I know I'm not gordon, but I'm as much of a professional as he is. :) :)

Thanks, I bought two rings during that time wich both had diamonds, I will be looking into that

i purhcased a debeers diamond that falls within the time fram.

i saw where it showed an example that if you purchased an diamond valued at $2400, your payment MAYBE as much as $640.

i would not get too excited, HOWEVER, I will file the claim. i have a call into my jeweler now, and will let yall know what he says
