Prayers needed UPDATED!

Well I found out yesterday I have melanoma. I had 6 moles removed a week ago and the lab results stated that I had a Clarks level 3 malignant melanoma that was 1mm thick. Tomorrow I am having surgery to clean out the surrounding tissue and removing a lymph node to test for cancer cells. If the lymph node results come back positive then I will be starting chemo asap. I'm only 19 so this comes as quite of a shock to me and the family. Please keep us in you're prayers. Happy hunting as my season is probably over

I am very sorry to hear that my friend, I have just recently been to the dermatologist for a spot on my stomach. I thought it may be cancer but luckily it was benign (spelling?). I was very curious because a friend of mine came down with the same stuff as you, so I was taking every precaution. My wife works with cancer patients everyday, I know how it is, she is a radiation therapists. Look man just keep your head up high, because it can always be worse believe me bud. I will pray for you pal, pm me if you need anything whatsoever.

Prayers sent Ted, I myself had a scare back middle of the summer and I can assure you it is a scary thing) lucky fo me every thing was A ok but I will always worry about it b/c I was bad about not wearing sun screan ect.... and I am out in the sun all the time weather it is working on the golf course or fishing. You and your family will be in my prayers, so please keep us posted and if I can help in any way let me know ASAP and will do what I can

Damn Ted. I am in shock. It will be fine. At your age, you should be able to bounce back from radiation if it comes to that. Let us hope not. Prayers go with you young gun!
