We killed a couple of hogs and are looking for a good way to cook them. It has been quartered and I was wondering if they are worth putting on the grill, or if we should just have it made into sausage?

I prefer it on my table or on some white bread. Don't matter to me how it was cooked. It is all mighty tasty...

If you smoke it you can do it for a while just straight on the rack, then put it in an disposable aluminum pan, pour in some apple juice and cover the top of the meat with garlic, onions and pinapple. Keeps it plenty juice and tender plus adds some extra flavor.

man.. these guys are yank'n your chain.. ain't worth eating.. wasted lead... might as well throw it away. but be careful. where you dump it. it's illegal to put it in your trash can and illegal to dump on the shoulder of the road. those things must be disposed of in a major kind of way.. legally one must carry him back to the location he was destroy'n.. them must find a root'n area that he created.. all nose prints and hoof prints must match.. also need turd samples from this area and from the hog along with a piece of hair for DNA testing to assure you're in the right area.. then you gotta dig a hole must be 8' deep and two and a half times as wide as the hog was in root'n position. then once you've placed him in the hole. he must face the direction he was when you shot him. when you start to cover him up the old dirt, turds, etc must go in first and the newer dirt on top.. this assures that the next hunter will now if he's in the right spot to bury his kill.. won't be any DNA crossups.. lucky for you i just so happen to specialize in wild hog disposal.. pm me with contact info and i can send my team of men to pick that thing up and properly dispose of it for you.. save you a bunch of headache and time.
