Not Priceless=$21,000

Is anyone else sick of hunting MS? I have hunted all year and the passed years not shooting small bucks and letting 120 inch deer go for the passed 5 years and still nothing to shoot. I think on my piece of land in the delta that the deer max out at about 120, because I don't ever see them any bigger and I hunt all the time. I am so sick of sitting in the stand and seeing the same ole deer. Anybody else out there having the same year or years?
I don't even want to talk about the ducks.
Thinking about getting back into rabbit hunting. Longer seasons, bigger bag limits. IT's Beagle Time: TURNEMLOOSE

you got bigger deer, they are just smarter, nocturnal, and the are not really fond of this raniny hot "winter" we have experienced.

Same story where I hunt. I have gotten PO'd, burned out, frustrated, and about ready to give up. Line squatters are smashing the 120 and 130 that step across, and the road riders are taking what is left.

Rabbit season sounds good. You got room for another?

i also agree but the bigger and older they get the smarted they get too.if you don't have any get some trail cams. they will let you know what is really there even if you dont see them.

Sounds to me like you are gauging your success on the antler size instead of the harvest. Ducks are down a bit but not so much that it is not worth the effort and again sounds as if a limit is what drives you as a successful hunt.

Hunting is so much more than the number and or size of the kill. When you reach an understanding of that then Priceless is all you will see.

What will be the problem when you start Rabbit hunting? (Small rabbits, not enough to limit?, dogs won't run?)

I am sick of the same thing. I think a trip to Kansas is what I am thinking could help my situation.

Struggle with the same thing myself...that is putting money and time into something and not getting the results I think I should...but then I have to remind myselft "that hunting".......and the not so good times makes the good times that much better.

sound like u need to start killin those little bucks that aren't going to amount to anything or those 120 8 points need to be culled and let the better looking ones walk then u should see a difference..

loss of wingman sure uped the road hunting and tresspasssing but complaing about small deer and hunting food plots is useless.
