I have two male Weimaraners that don't get along. One I raised from a puppy and the other I got from a couple in SC. They are both near two years old and they do not get along. They both get along fine with other dogs male or female, but just not with each other. Anyone have any tips to solve this?

We breed them. My brother has two females and a male. I have one that weighs about 70# and the other about 120# they are good hunting dogs.

heeling stick, e-collar, fly swatter, spray em with water hose.... name your poison, how do you break them up now? just be careful about putting your hands anywhere near their heads as they could bite and clamp down on your hand not knowing while they are riled up... they fight for numerous reasons...territorial, food, dominance, attention, affection..most of these issues will not go away until one establishes dominance..(IE:gets his booty kicked a few times)

This could be one for the dog whisperer himself...

Muddinram is right, with both of them being placed together after being a little bit older they are gonna fight until 1 can become the dominant one!!!

Scooby hunts whatever I'm hunting and does not care for late season duck hunting. He's a little too thin skinned. They will have to learn that I am the dominant male. If that means all three of us go at it then i guess that's what I'll do....LOL
