In your opinion and experience, what is the best large construction company or firm in the state?

I am goignt o have to say W.G. Yates and Sons Construction Company. BUt I am a bit partial since they pay the bills.

They are the biggest and make the most money. Just don't asked the subs. You'll get a different opinion.

Jimmy and Johnny Crane & Co. do alot of commercial/industrial stuff in NE Miss. Not sure how good they are, but I know a vice president with that operation.

Bill Yates knows how to turn a dollar and flip it into the other pocket. Its amazing what you can do when you sub everything out to yourself. Even when you rent equipment you rent from yourself. See alot of Harrel stuff lately going up.

Harrell, formerly Dunn, is a division of Roy Anderson. Crane is a drywall contractor. White is another good ole big un. Not know that well in Ms. although they are out of Clarksdale. Most of their work is done around Austin, Tx.
