I raise dogs that are of Brit and American cross. I think that the cross is great. You get the best of both worlds. I have a litter of black on the ground right now. I fyou wish to see my female's pedigree you can check it out at http://www.magnumrunkennels.com. i bred my blsck female to a chocolate Brit stud. If you wish to see the stud's pedigree you may see it at http://www.dixiebrit.com. The stud dog's name is Gunner. You may also feel free to call me at 205-253-3908. Thanks

Let me chime in and then chime out. There are lots of "British" dog breeders out there. "British" means different things to different folks. To me it means FTC or at a min FTW dogs as immediate sires to your puppy w/ same all though the dams 3 generation pedigree. It may mean something else to you. My dog came from Tom Hamilton at http://www.brackenfen.com although there are other equally good breeders out there.

How many guys over here, other than Tom, have lived, trained, competed and titled dogs in the UK?

You won't get a puppy from Tom, or from Wildrose, for $500. More like $1K and up. It is what it is. Good luck in your search.

Peace out.

How many of your average consumers out there are able to pay the 1000 and up that tehy want for their dogs. As a matter of fact the sire to this litter is out of FTW and my female is from very strong field trial lines. This is why I have my dogs at the 500 mark. So that someone can have a good blooded dog at a reasonable price.

I think $1000 for the RIGHT pup is reasonable , I still believe you get what you pay for IF you do your homework . I have been around both wildrose and brackenfen brits ,,,,,,,,,,and from what i have seen Tom Hamiltons dogs have a lot more motor in them .

But thats just my opinion , go look at both and make your own decision as to which one fits you .
