Feds closed it down. Pas Taylor is the man you need to talk to. He'll lease ya some land for cheap. He owns a part of the brake and for a fee will let you hunt it. Hell of a guy to deal with.

Mudsucker, he definately is interesting. I wasn't serious. I wouldn't trust him far as that big booty boat you drive could drag him. He's fun to talk to though.

Its bone dry this year and I heard the Feds were gonna make it a draw next year. Better call Pass or Byron Barrett to set up a lease today

Well, hunterb4427, its not so much a question of have you seen the ducks as much as it is a question of have they seen you. You need to be in the right mindset here. Those ducks have been shot at all the way from Canada to Missouri to Mississippi. They are very wary. The thing to do is make sure you are using the right concealment. Notice I didn't say camoflauge; thats because camo doesn't work anymore. Some guys take it to the limit to ensure they blend in. I know a fellow who had a mallard duck costume stitched together. When he hunts, he wears the mallard suit, and goes out of his way to act "ducky." He flaps his arms and quacks and runs around pretending to eat grain. Just when the ducks have landed, he pulls out a 45 pistol and caps each and every one of them. You may not need to take it to this extreme, however. You might be able to get by with strapping a mallard decoy to either side of your head. Just shake your head alot and make quacking noises and it will decoy the birds perfectly. And tie one to your dog's head as well. If you are a wealthy man, you can probably afford to hire illegal immagrants to dress in duck costumes and run around your field quack and acting like ducks. Just be sure to get the costumes in a smaller size.

Or you could set up a large toy train set in the field, and put decoys on top of the train cars. There is no limit to what you can do to pull in ducks, if you have the creativity and money to pull it off. Best of luck to you.
