Last year, before we had a decent push of birds, I heard geese over my house in Oxford for a couple of days...then we started having decent number of ducks in the Delta.......just walked outside, all I could hear were "snows"....let hope it happens again this year

According to the net, there is a Major winter storm brewing up North, hope it holds out and then starts pushing the birds down about the first of next week

I'm optomistic but lookin at the highs and lows for the next couple of days in Columbia (30s-40s) and Caruthersville (40s-50s) it ain't lookin good. I'll get fired up when the highs in MO are in the 20s.

Heard snows all night while studying until I went this morning. We had a good number of ducks yesterday before the front but were pushed out by the front. The new birds will start to filter in within the next 48 hours or so.

my fellow duck huntin buddy drives over the road in a big truck, he called me the other day with some good news on northern missouri and southern illinois. said it was 20 degrees up there and fallin. he is supposed to get up with me tonight about some more temps. he also said the amount of ducks he has been seeing in that area has plumited. said when he went through southern missouri he saw a bunch though. hope this front coming in helps that out.
