Has anyone used this device? If so, what did you think? I saw it in a magazine and thought if I add one more electronic device to my spread, it could become hazardous.

No, just read the weekly stories in the Clarion-Ledger about Frank Melton sending the entire Jackson police force to raid the stores that sell them.
If he can't do anything about the car thieves and crack killers, he can at least protect us from the dildos and vibrators.

If it takes batteries, it has no place in a decoy spread, unless it's an electronic caller during the conservation season. Throw them ALL away!!!

I have two but have not put them to use. I bought them because Charles Snapp said they were awesome and I should try them. They give motion to the decoys but not like turning on a washing machine. A jerk string would probasbly do just as well but i get confused jerking, calling, and shooting at the same time.

I was checking out some girl I knows spread the other night and she had batteries and I saw nothing wrong with it.

the pulsators by Higdon are pretty cool. They have a waterproof battery box that acts as the decoy anchor. Battery is one of the small 12 volt, kind of like the Mojo's uses, but larger.
In a couple of our timber holes it's near impossible to run the lines of some decoys to a battery sitting on a dog stand because of logs, stumps and water depth in beaver runs. With these you boat by and drop them in.
The motor is supposed to be beefed up a log on power. We've used them in duck weed, rice stubble, hydrilla and general marsh goo and they've kept on running.

Now those type battery operated products are just fine!!!!
But keep the others out of your decoys and you'll kill more ducks!!
