We killed 11 there opening morning and should have killed 15-16...Our birds were locals that we had scouted, however.

Hunted there years ago while I was in college. No 4 wheelers allowed foot travel welcome. Used to get checked by the opossum police regularly.

"Sir, how many beers have you consumed this evening"? I dunno, how many are left in the cooler? unknown

"Sir have you been drinking"? Why, is there a fat girl in the backseat of my truck? LTCG

11 for a 6 man hunt on the most obvious hole in the whole place...including the fact that they were obviously local birds in a scouted hole(read, VERY low overall waterfowl numbers), also noting the fact that you need the ability to travel shallow water to get in there.

Your right though, those midseason hunts that last 20 minutes because all the birds pitch in and are undisturbed due to lack of hunters on available holes sure does make for a really good time.

I apologize for the fact that I don't consider 11 birds(<2/man-day) a secret worth keeping...
