What did everyone do this weekend?

Buddy killed a 14" 8 point, Sat morn. I heard he's a fairly decent buck.
I saw 9 does sat morning and not squat since. No meat in the freezer and couldn't shoot them on the land i elected to hunt. Sucks at that all where within 30 yards and i was armed with only my bow. I guess they knew.

What did the opener bring you and yours?

shot a doe this afternoon. I saw a decent buck about 350-400 yards away. My boy shot at a few deer, but did not connect. He still got the opening weekend jitters I guess.

KIlled a doe sat evening and plan on killing every deer I see from here on out since the guy I paid money to will not no lets say refuses to call me back and tell me how to get into certain blocks of land and hasnt got any stands up and will not ansewr any questions I have. I have learned my lesson and so will he. My climber does just fine but no sign in boards to let me know where others may be etc and its opening weekend. It is fugged up as a n!G@#!S CHECKBOOK UP THERE.

Nah, I bow hunted Fri and Sat afternoon and was on a good deer both days.. He's about 18-19"w but not very tall.. I got about 5 min of video of him Fri. He was in range just couldnt get a clear shot at him.. Got on him again SAT but it was late and he never got closer than 50yds. I wound up seeing 19 bucks Fri and Sat but he was the only shooter.. We didnt kill a any legal bucks this weekend.. Send me some pic's of your deer to my pm!! Sounds like he was a nice one!

I lost about a pint of blood to mosquitos Sunday morning. I walked out to the stand and turned around. They were WILD in that bottom. Last time I had mosquitos on me like that I was fishing up in Manitoba, Canada. I couldn't even hear birds the swarming bugs were so bad.
