question on nova pump

Postby banded74 » Wed Dec 04, 2002 10:52 pm

Hello all! I hope everybody is having a great season. I just purchased the nova pump.. Was wondering before I shot it this weekend if anybody else hunts with the nova.. What are your feelings about the gun after you have duck hunted a few times with it... Thanks

I've hunted with mine for two years now. Its been to the bottom of a few lakes and slough's and never missed a beat. Great gun in my opinion.

Both me and my son have Novas and love them. Dependable, durable, never-fail. I use mine for ducks, quail and even skeet.

I have had my Nova for about 4 years I have never had a lick of trouble with mine. I absolutely love mine. I just wish that it was Mossy Oak camo.

In my opinion you have got the best for your money.

I have also hunted with a Nova for 4 years now, it is a great all-round gun. I use mine for duck, turkey, skeet and even took it to South Dakota on a pheasant hunt last month. It performed superbly, I guess the most attractive feature to me is how simple it is to disassemble and reassemble. Makes cleaning it a breeze. The factory chokes are good, I recently purchased a turkey choke but have not shot it yet. All in all I have probably sent 5 cases of shells(2 3/4, 3 and 3 1/2") through it with no problem at all. Good Luck....

I bought a Nova 3 years ago, back when everybody said it was sure an ugly as hell gun.... After many hunts...duck, doves, and turkeys... alot of my friends have changed their minds on the looks and settled for performance...although the only time mine failed to shoot was one time when a group of ducks committed to the dekes and it misfired because I FORGOT TO LOAD IT...... ...other than that it makes a great boat paddle, walking stick, or alligator basher.... Nothing but good news here.
It's not a passion, it's a sickness!!! I don't want a cure!!!!
