My first Bow kill...

aint much to talk about but its the first deer ive ever taken with a bow...and yes it is legal they havent broke the skin yet...Not a very good shot placement but it was in a helluva predictament when i shot...got the job done though!!!!!

thanx for the fix dutch dog...never posted any pics before..
not much of a story...every1 will prolly say "bullchitt" when i say i shot it for a doe lol...but i did...it had been a good day and got in the stand around 3:00....sat there for a couple hours...and the guy who owns the land i was hunting on come hauling ass down his muddy road in his dodge ram with straight pipes makin some god awful racket and i was just on the virge of getting down and commin home because i figured he scared everything in the area away.....but i decided since i was there i would wait it out and around 6 ish i heard em coming ....6 deer come out of a thicket in front of me what looked like a rabbit would have trouble commin through...So I stood up and waited for them to come in and by the time they got up to me i could of swore i was elvis the way my knees were wobblin lol....sorry guys its my first bow kill i was excited...I picked out the one i wanted cuz it looked like the best meat..and drew back...and the only shot he gave me he was halfway behind a tree..i tried to wait for a better shot but it was almost dark and i was determined to take this dude home...so i put my 20yd pin right behind the shoulder and as you can tell by the shot i must of pulled but i was happy that i actually hit the first one i ever drew back on...gave him a few minutes and went after him....i walked around him twice before finally stumbling across him in another thicket he ran off into...and that concludes the story of my first bow kill...like i said it wasnt much to talk about but it was the first one...hope you guys dont frown on me too bad for takin this youngster'.....

if you dont get the nerves shaken during bowhuntin you better quit. there isnt anyone ammune to it. but on the other hand you left out my expert tracking skills!

lol...yeah I didnt carry on too much about the tracking part...but im sure glad you helped me cuz i'da been lost as a cheeseburger at a clan meetin' by myself in that thicket...im ready for tomorrow maybe we can both get one

my first deer with a bow many yrs ago was a knot head as well. i shot it for a doe too! Just was not quite enough light to tell

I was hunting with a buddy one time, and his first bow kill he was shaking so bad he hit the deer in the booty........severed the main artery and the deer only ran 50 yards.
