"irrefutable evidence"

One thing that is missing from all of this is what call was made on the field. Did the referee on the field state he felt the receiver was pushed out of bounds, did he go out on his own, did he even see that both went out of bounds, did he say who he felt touched the ball first. All of this would go along way in determining what call the irrefutable evidence overturned.

I have seen the play several times and in no way can any of us determine who touched the ball first. If a person here can 100% tell who touched the ball first please tell me where I can go look at it.

I'm pretty sure that Adam was the first ever to touch "The Ball".

I think they should have let the play stand, see if Ole Miss could get the field goal and decide the winner in overtime. Hate to see a game end like that.

UM wasn't going to attempt the FG to send it into overtime. They had called a fade route to the corner of the endzone. Alabama could have used its last time out just prior to that snap to evaluate and adjust. We'll never know...
