:?: :?: After morning duck hunt, I plan on sitting a stand for deer tomorrow on my lease (WRP land). If I use my shotgun and 00 buckshot, what choke should I use; and if I use a slug, what choke? Thanks and good luck and safe hunting tomorrow.

I would use an improved cylinder for both if I were you. There's noway to go wrong with that. I wouldn't want to confine either of them any more then I had too, but modified would be alright if thats what you were using for ducks anyway.

I have always used a full choke for buckshot...

If I was looking over fields, even wrp fields I would bring a rifle.

I had a buddy of mine kill a nice 10 pt a few years ago with buckshot at about 75 yds....full choke. My uncle has killed several deer with buckshot at less than 50 yds...he uses strictly full choke. He consistently gets about 10 pellets in the "kill" area.
