Game Wardens?

When Mr. Green Pants  pulls up to your dove hunt does he usually ride his truck into the middle of the field where he chats with another warden for a while? Or does he park his truck where everyone else parks and walk through the field to check licenses? I realize it is hot and there is a job to be done, but show a little more respect.

We only saw him once.....he pulled up next to edge of the field hollered at the owner who was a friend of his and kept on going...however, the funniest thing that happened all weekend was when the guy sitting about 80 yards down from in the corner of the field, grabbed his stool and gun and took off running into the woods threw his gun and stool in the bushes and hid from Mr. Green jeans. Someone said game warden and then next thing i hear is this guycrashing through the bushes!

Airplane two low swoops through and left when he realized that they hadn't baited this year. I didn't see a badge or anything, but the field is three miles off the black top behind a locked gate. Can't think of any reason a person would purposely fly the field twice low with folks shooting guns.

After I was check last year I had to make one move to the side b/c he insisted on standing between me and the field while birds were steadily coming into the field....Told him "Look I don't mind if you want to stay and talk but you are going to have to get the hell out of the way!!

Had one walk up on us from the river. I asked him how far he had walked to get to us and he said 6 miles. He then wrote me a ticket and asked for a ride out when he got done checking everybody. I told him to smd, what a tool, I mean write me a ticket and then ask for a ride wtf.

Sounds about right....reminds me of a skillet head trooper that stopped me for an expired insp. sticker(one month overdue) on New Year's day. The hwy. was rather isolated and road was icy......when he pulled off the shoulder of the road, he slid all the way into the ditch....he asked me to pull him out with my 4x4....."gladly", I said, "if you forget about the insp. sticker"......he said he would, so I snatched the skillet head's car back onto the hwy.....ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

I am not ripping the Game Wardens here. They have a job to do and I have no problem with it. I was legal. Also, I just learned that one of the people on the hunt did not have his license on him and the GW did not write him a ticket. For some reason it just didnt sit well with me that they rode the trucks through the field and then parked in the field for a while to have a discussion.

You know, if you were deer hunting and they drove into the field and sat there that would be one thing. Doves are STUPID, you can be wearing blaze orange doing circus tricks while blowing an air horn and the doves will fly right over you, so I really don't think a couple of trucks are going to hurt anything.
