? about refuges

i know i have to have the permit that you send off for but is it ok to take someone without a permit (such as my wife) as long as they do not hunt? thanks

I asked the same thing and the answer is yes but they did say it also depended on the warden that stoped you.

I wouldn't try it. Some of those guys have a bad attitude. At least ask the manager at the area you are going to.

Sorry, I didn't word my post correctly. I have called and the answer is yes, she needs a permit.

all she needs is the permit if she's not going to hunt doesn't need stamps or anything

Everyone on refuge property needs to have a permit on their person, whether they are hunting or bird watching or whatever.

I was hunting at a refuge and my buddy didn't have his yet but it was ordered and they didn't give him any kind of a ticket. It all depends on who you get checked by. My advice is to be safe and get one, doesn't cost that much money anyways
