rifle and bow for mahanna and bow for twin oaks. I know twin oaks area but not so with mahanna any info yall got.

I also got drawn for a bow hunt at mahanna and primitive weapon at twin oaks. I have hunted private land that borders mahanna many times and saw some nice bucks, but no shooters. My bow hunt is Oct 6,7,8 and if it's 90 degrees like the past couple of years I will not waste my time.Their are some good bucks on mahanna, but you better scout. Twin Oaks is better hunting as far as bucks. I will not miss it, I have already taken vacation days for that one.

my bow hunt is the same time as my bow hunt in twin oaks. i will hunt twin oaks cause a few of my buddies got drawn too. my rifle hunt at mahanna i was really excited about. but i don't know the lay of the land is it real wooded or open grass fields or bouth.

I was drawn for Twin Oaks Nov 24-26 and I don't have a clue where to even start. Do they have restrictions on scouting?
