saw a ton of birds around Rayville and Monroe. A guy I work with took some pics saturday morning on his lease and it looked like the field got up to fly. Several thousand ducks got off the ground, I couldn't believe it. He had that picture enlarged to frame it.

I will be going to Winfield , LA about 100 miles South of Monroe the week of Thanksgiving to visit a friend . He lives on some back water to Lake Saline , a beautiful place. He doesn't care much about duck hunting( I don't understand???) but said he could put me on them as long as we deer hunted a few mornings. Can't wait.
