I just got off the phone with Doc, and I can't tell you how happy he is to do this for us. He said he was watching the poll really close towards the end.

He's going to send me some pics and info in the next day or two concerning what route we are going to go call wise. He's got a new call that he's been working on that isn't on the site just yet. He'll be sending me some pics for me to post up. More than likely, we will use two types of calls for the acrylic orders, mainly the Suzie model. GC made a great review on this call a few yrs ago, and I'll be posting up the link to it at the end of this post. As for color, we will go with three.......Black, Mallard Green and Ivory.

As for the woods, we'll probably be going with three models, more than likely including the DT.....we've both agreed the beer shape would be fitting for this site. He's more than likely going to select 3-5 woods for us to choose from that will not make the price jump up any higher.

Pricing should be set by next week. Also, a big thanks goes out to Doc for taking on this project.

man, that's a good deal.... i saw him logged on late last night...figured he was keeping tabs.....

i may have to break my own rule and actually order a wood call....course, i might order 2.....

I skipped out for a reason.....superstition. I was hoping if I didn't show up that they would win.

I have been slammed busy lately, so I have not chimed in like I should have yet. Doc Hull is as fine a fellow as you will ever meet, and a first rate craftsman of the highest order. His original call designs are unique, at least one of his tone board designs has been ripped off already so they are influential, and to say that his exotic woods are true works of art is an understatement. His Vit Glodo barrel designs are unique, and he is keeping the old school traditons alive. His calls will put ducks in your face if you do your part. Unlike "one call fits all" makers, Doc usually figures you are gonna mess with your reeds, and puts a couple spares in there dog-eared a couple of different ways. You CANNOT make the sumbeatch stick, either. I am telling you, y'all are in for a treat dealing with Doc Hull!

Doc it one of the best guys I have met through the internet. Everytime I have the pleasure to get to talk to him, I like him more and more. I think I am going to have him put his favorite word on mine

Doc just sent me some pics to take a look at. It's a work in progress right now concerning color and models that we will go with. Everything should be finalized for ordering by the middle of the week.

Here's what I need right now. I want to give Doc an approx. preorder amount of calls.

I need to know how many calls each person wants, acrylic or wood, including single or double reed in your request. This isn't a request for a MODEL AND COLOR, just a basic preorder go-to list.
