ANyone have any suggestions on something that won't break the bank but seems to help with arthritis? Lacey seems to be starting to show some of it and I'd like to keep her limber as long as I can.

Look at this website. This fellow holds himself out as the guru:

I give mine Synovi G2 chewables as a preventative. That is what the vets sell around here. You can get it on Amazon about half of what the local vets charge.

I highly recommend Docs products. For arthritis in your dog use his Glucosimine MSM Forte and most importantly add one tablet per day of the FlexHA. The hyralaunic acid is used only in dogs that have arthritis. The poducts that Doc Erickson sells are high quality and they work. Click on the link that GulfCoast has in his post.

This was recommended by a vet to me to save money, I have 5 Labs of various ages. Buy your MSM, glucosimine and chondroitin supplements from Sam's club or Puritans Pride online. This is the same ingredients that are in Synova or Gyco-Flex. Doses are easily calculated, but a 50-100lb dog would take 1500 mg. glucosomine 1000mg chondroitin and 500mg MSM daily. Takes about 4-6 weeks before you will see joint improvement. Been giving these dosages to my 10 year old BLF since she was 6, when she first started showing stiff joints. She is still hunting full time with no stiffness just wears out quicker.
