This weekend is their annual Waterfowl Extravaganze. The 18th and 19th of October. I do not know everyone on the list that will attend but I do know that Greg Hood will be there on Sat. They will have standard Flambeau dekes on sale for $22 per dozen. I am not sure what the price will be on all others but they should all be on sale. I you come and they don't have what you need just head over to Hooters and eat lunch then go to Bass Pro. Just a heads up didn't want you guys to miss it if you wanted to come.

I went by there yesterday and they do have the standard water keel flam's on sale for $23/ dozen. No other dekes are on sale. You would find more bang for your buck to drive a few extra miles and go to Bass Pro. Buck and Bass has always been high priced and I hope they will go out of business soon! Don't know why I thought it would be any different.

Even with Bass pro being in town now I don't see Buck and Bass going out of business any time soon. Before they did that they would trim some fat (labor) and lower their prices. I personally don't see how they can have 12 employees there at any given time. There isn't that much business going through that location. (that I have seen) One thing I do like about the place is that if you want it, they have it 99% of the time. I have said before and I will say again I would rather pay a dollar or two extra and have it in my hands right now rather that waiting on it to be ordered by another place.

I was in Buck and Bass on Friday and business was pretty good. I heard they may be moving out east before very long. They do have an excellent selection and if you pay attention you won't pay much more for most items. Anyway I was finally able to get my new waders there. Lacross 5mil brush tuff, at no cost I might add. They do take care of you if your a regular customer. My .02....
